After a significant setback for the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the Assembly elections, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has resigned from his post.
Chief Minister Vijayan, who has been staying at his residence in Kannur, did not travel to the state capital but submitted his resignation to the Governor through a special envoy.
